TOSHIBA ANNOUNCES TD-H3 SERIES WITH NEW LEVELS OF MANAGEABILITY AND CUSTOMISABLE FUNCTIONALITY – IDEAL FOR THE HOSPITALITY SECTOR

Amsterdam, NL, 7 February 2017 – Toshiba Europe GmbH today announces the new TD-H3 Series designed with ease-of-use at its heart, making it perfect for the hotel and hospitality sectors. Available in a variety of sizes, including 24", 32", 43" and 49", the TD-H3 Series models seamlessly blend advanced functionality with effortless set-up and management which can suit a wide range of requirements. Models are available with either Full HD 1080p resolution (43” and 49”), or HD Ready 720p resolution (24" and 32"), allowing for content to always be displayed in vivid quality.

Simplicity – from installation, to day-to-day management
From the point of installation, the TD-H3 Series provides hospitality companies with a simple experience, enabling staff without specific technical expertise to set-up and manage the units. This includes USB cloning capabilities, which means the set-up of a single model can be easily transferred across multiple units. Similarly, LAN control allows every function of each display – either on single or multiple units – to be operated remotely and centrally with ease across multiple rooms or buildings.

Ideal for use in central locations within a building, such as hotel lobbies or bars, the TD-H3 series also features tiling functionality, enabling multiple displays to be connected together to create one larger picture. Designed to work with a range of connections and inputs, including an embedded USB player, the TD-H3 Series also supports a variety of content playback scenarios, which can be easily customised and controlled by a central administrator.

An abundance of engaging content options
With intelligent external PC software, channels can be fully customised via a user-friendly interface, allowing users to take control of channel listings and group them in a way that suits their audience. For example, a hotel with an international clientele can be clustered by country, enabling guests to easily scroll through listings familiar to them. The TD-H3 Series also features multiple built-in tuners DVB-T2/C/S2 (model dependent), which means the displays can be used in conjunction with broadcasts from a variety of sources.

The Toshiba TD-H3 Series is available in Europe from Q1 2017.
